Opinionated, outspoken and optimistic, Robert V. Taylor advocates creating change in the world through combining compassion with courage. His inspiring life story is the foundation for his work in helping others to recognize and utilize the power of their personal stories.

In 1999, his courage was rewarded when Seattle’s Episcopal Cathedral elected him as the first openly gay Dean of any Anglican Cathedral in the world. In 2008, he resigned from this position to become a sought after public speaker, media commentator and noted author. He also serves as President of the New York based Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation.

He is a TV personality and regular contributor to the Huffington Post, Fox News and the Washington Post, among others. He is the best-selling author of A New Way to Be Human and the forthcoming Beyond Limitations: Living the Questions of Courageous Love.

Working with the world’s most noted peacemakers, Robert has spent a lifetime fighting injustice. His personal ordeals have fueled his passion to help others live beyond their own fears and obstacles.
